Join veteran bassist and Berklee alumnus Bryan Beller as he shares some insights into the bass, playing the music of the Aristocrats and Joe Satriani, and real-world knowledge of the music business.
Guest artist Carl Allen will present a drum set clinic as part of the 2025 Berklee Drums and Percussion Workshop. He will discuss and demonstrate foundational drum set concepts and techniques as applied to jazz drumming and overall musicianship. Additionally, important historical information, information about relevant recordings, and insights into Allen's illustrious career will be shared. Other clinic topics will include hand-to-hand development, four-way coordination, balance between limbs, drum set styles, repertoire development, and chart interpretation.
Soyeon Kate Lee is on the piano faculty at the Juilliard School of Music and the Bowdoin International Summer Piano Festival. She formerly was professor at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and is in great demand for master classes around the world.
